How to Comment

These are the steps to comment on my blog.
  1. Scroll down to the post you want to comment on.
  2. Click on where it says how many comments there are for that post. For example, if it says"1 comment:" you would click on it.
  3. On your screen you will see other people's comments on that post and a comment box. Click on the comment box.
  4. You will then enter your comment.
  5. If you want to be notified click the box next to where it says "Notify me".
  6. If you want to preview your comment click the white preview box.
  7. To publish your comment click the blue publish box.
This is how to write a good comment.
  • Be nice and positive.
    • In your comment write what you liked about the post not what you didn't like.

  • Write with correct spelling and punctuation.

  • Capitalize the first word of every sentence and the word I.

  • Ask questions.
    • If you ask questions then I can answer them and we can have a conversation.

  • Make a connection.
    • For example, if you see that I say my favorite color is blue and your favorite color is blue to say that in your comment.

  • Add new information.
    • For example, if you know about the topic I'm talking about you can write more information about it.

  • Write your comment just like you write a letter.
    • Have a greeting like saying hi.
    • Have content.
    • Have closing like saying bye or sincerely and then your name.

  • Never put your personal information in a comment or online at all.
    • Putting personal information online is not safe. You never know who will see it.
"Don't yap about your YAPPY online" is a great guideline to know what and what not to share online.

  • Make sure to read your comment when you are writing it to check for mistakes.
If you write a comment here's what I would like to know about you.
  • What country are you from?
  • Do you have a blog?
  • Are you doing the 2018 blogging challenge?
  • Do you have siblings?
  • What are some of your hobbies?
  • Do you have pets?
  • What is your favorite book?

  1. Hey Morgan!
I loved your post, and I'd love to share some things about me, and hope to hear some things about you in return! Some of my hobbies are baking, poetry, and swimming! My favorite book is 'Flowers for Algernon' by Daniel Keys, and I sadly do not have pets, but I might get one, soon!
I hope to hear back from you,

  2. Hi Morgan,

I'm Miss Davidson and I'm writing to you from Melbourne, Australia. I'm a teacher librarian at an elementary school (although we call them primary or junior schools here).

Your post is great! It's clearly set out and includes images; both these things make it easier for the reader to engage with your post fully.

I'll answer a couple of your questions ...

Pets? I have two West Highland Terriers, Abbey and Lexie. They are very cute and also a bit naughty! They love walking on the beach near my house, and when it's hot, Abbey loves to swim.

Hobbies? Some of my hobbies are travelling, yoga, reading, walking, listening to music.

Favourite book? That's a tricky one because I read a lot of books for my work. One of my favourites this year has been a book called Amal Unbound, about a young girl in Pakistan. I love reading books about different cultures because you can learn a lot about new places.

    Keep up the great blogging!

    Miss Davidson.

  3. Hi, Morgan! Nice to meet you on our blogs. This is Miss Blessing and her class from Vermont in the United States.

We do have a blog, both as a class and as individuals. We are doing the challenge for the first time, and we are loving getting comments from so many interesting people.

Our class especially enjoys the outdoors, and our seasons are wildly different here. So many of us hike, swim, and camp in the summer, then ski, sled, ice fish, skate, or snowmobile in the winter. We get some great snow here.

Our class is full of great animal lovers, and some of us have a LOT of pets. Some live on farms. We just finished reading Charlotte's Web. We like graphic novels, funny stories, and animal nonfiction a lot.

    Enjoy the blogging challenge!
